Chapter Discussion: See No Evil

The expectation is for interpreters to behave ethically. Ethical conduct is a consistent theme of interpreter education and professional development. Countless classes and workshops have laid out the ways in which interpreters should conduct themselves. Interpreters even adapt "do no harm" as an ethical mantra. Yet, what if there are tendencies to overlook and ignore unethical behaviors in other interpreters as well as oneself?

See No Evil is a chapter discussion facilitated by Amy KrollThis interactive discussion is for working and student interpreters.

  • Identify four tendencies that overlook and ignore unethical behaviors
